Do you know of any case-studies of hospital restructuring? I need a way to measure outcomes of major changes.?

I am curious to find case studies or reports detailing the outcome of major restructuring in a hospital setting . I need information on creating a survey that could be administered at another hospital, to compare objectives with outcomes. How do other hospitals measure if they have been successful or not, or if the big changes actually helped? Please let me know of any articles or reports, or good places to search for them. Thank you!Do you know of any case-studies of hospital restructuring? I need a way to measure outcomes of major changes.?
I can't find the example right now, but we have done a hospital restructuring example in people management. What they did was to provide each bed with a touch screen computer for a few reasons. First for the doctors to enter information and for nurses to see medicines and dosages. Then patients can report on what they like and what they don't like. This gives the management feedback on what they are doing right and where they are going wrong. Let's face it you provide a service in a hospital and you need to rate it.

Netcare in South Africa have restructured their hospitals to streamline their processes.
