What is the drop-out rate for engineering major? how many students change majors or drop-outs after they find out how hard, tedious or boring it's to study all that math and science?

At the university I attended the drop rate for the engineering college was around 67%. On the first day of my statics class the professor said look to your left, now look to your right. Only one of the three of you will be graduating from this program.
